Using Proxy Passengers With Your Computer to Allow Connectivity Through a Wireless Network

If you are using a router or access point for your network, you will need to configure your device to allow you to login to the Internet through a proxy server 192.168.l.0.1. You may wonder how a regular IP address will allow you to connect to the Internet through a proxy. The reason is that when you type an IP address into a web browser, it will not automatically assign it an IP address of itself. This is because it would require the use of an IP changing software to alter the IP address from the Ethernet signal that it is receiving. With this change, the IP address will be correctly assigned to allow you to log on to the Internet.

How to Configure Your Wireless Router to Use the Proper Wireless Networking Server (WISP)

However, you can configure your computer to allow you to login to the Internet without typing in your IP address. To do this, you will need to use your web browser and set up your computer with either Wireless Internet or Wireless Wi-Fi. Once you have both of these installed and set up, log onto your computer and go to the settings icon on your desktop. Click on the tab called “internet options”. This will take you to a page where you can choose the option you want to allow your computer to login with, which in this case will be through your wireless connection.

Click on “wanlinks” and choose the option that says “etherx”. This will configure your computer to connect to a wireless network using a default gateway. By selecting the default gateway provided, your computer will appear as though it is connected to the Internet wirelessly, even though it is connected through a wired connection. Once you click the “OK” button, you will be prompted to enter your username and password. Enter these details and you will be able to log onto the Internet wirelessly through a proxy server, instead of through your personal IP address.
